If you are re-enacting on a budget and require blackwork embroidered cuffs and matching collar, this is a brilliant alternative saving both time and money. The pattern is inspired by the blackwork and embroideries of 16th and 17th Century garments.

Use Inspiration:

Designed to be used on linen shirts, the fabric could be used to create detachable cuffs and collar so that they can be interchanged between your favourite Henrician garments, this also means they can be removed to be regularly laundered without fear of ruining the shirt! This fabric could also be used for theatre and film productions, creating the appearance of embroidery but on a budget. An alternative use would also be to use this as a base for embroidery, a guide to be embellished over the top of for a more authentic look.

*Disclaimer - this product appears off white when next to overly bleached white linen, as shown in the picture; however due to screens having different tones in colour there also may be a slight variation when viewed in real life*
