circa. 1600-20 Menswear
For Hannah’s final year at university she researched, designed and created this made to measure 1600-20 ensemble consisting of shirt, breeches and doublet. The doublet and breeches were pinked and slashed using replica tools to the period. The doublet and breeches have hand sewn eyelets to point together, and fasten with thread covered silk buttons. The gold work snakes have a tambour embroidered base and then are embellished with gold spangles, cord and gold purle. Hannah was awarded a First Class Degree in Costume with Textiles from the University of Huddersfield.
